Our clusters worked together to host a Flag Football Tournament to raise school supplies for the Christina School District, which declared bankruptcy last year. We had eight teams of seven play on Fraiser Field behind the Little Bob on Saturday, November 17. It was a cold afternoon, but the teams were very enthusiastic and wanted to continue playing even when they were out of the competition. It was a great day even if some of the players did get a little muddy! We raised a good amount of school supplies, and everyone had fun. The students enjoyed taking pictures, refereeing the games, and playing in the games. They learned a lot about how to organize a lot of people to accomplish one goal. Our presentation will explain why we chose to help the Christina School District , and show pictures of our tournament.
