My cluster organized a week long recycling drive at the Delaware Tech Wilmington campus in order to raise awareness for Malaria. The group ran and manned a table in the food court and aimed to collect as many recyclables that they could. The project also focused on raising awareness of the Malaria pandemic on the African continent through flyers and poster information available at the station. Through the experience the students learned how to put together an event and successfully help the community. Our LIFE service project also raised awareness for possible recycling at the campus and, due to the great success and desire to do more drives, bring the proposal to the administration. The project succeeded in all of our original goals and many others.
