Our cluster completed a community service on November 11, 2007 . This project was completed in honor of Veteran's Day. We volunteered at a 5K run in Wilmington , Delaware . All the proceeds benefited the Delaware National Guard. The students were great at helping out. They marshaled the course, helped with registration, passed out t-shirts, cheered people on, and passed out water at the finish line. The cluster bonded, learned lessons, and enjoyed their activity. The coordinator of the race, sponsors many races every year which benefits different non-profit organizations. He was very grateful for the help of the students, and hopes to have future volunteers from UD again. The presentation will present exactly what the students did and how they volunteered in the community that day.
