Our cluster participated in Make a Difference Day on October 27th, 2007 . Together we planted 300 trees at an old landfill site that is being brought back to life through volunteer work like this. Despite the rain and mud we were enthusiastic and excited to help. We feel that this was an important cause because it is not only making our environment a better place to live, but is fixing the environmental mistakes we have made in the past. We all plan on helping again on Earth day in the spring!
