UD has been ranked one of the least politically active campuses by the Princeton Review. UNIV 167-030, a Communication cluster, collaborated with STN, the student television network here at UD. Our cluster featured a segment (or PSA) on the student-run show, "What in the Hall?" It was aired on their December 4th show and could be seen in all campus dorms across UD. We filmed and edited a 1-2 minute commercial that stressed the importance of getting active on campus! We wanted to encourage students to register to vote, realize how important current events knowledge is, and urge them to recognize the benefits of learning about politics. Our class made a commercial with a serious message that was relatable to the UD student body while being entertaining and fun!
