Our cluster held a dodge ball tournament entitled, "GET SCHOOLED" in order to raise school supplies for the East Side Charter School of Wilmington. Students brainstormed, planned and facilitated this event in order to promote awareness on the University of Delaware campus the close proximity (in this case Wilmington ) in which poverty was occurring. The event was a positive experience for all as well as a motivation factor to continue to volunteer our time and efforts in order to improve the quality of the school day for students at East Side .
