For our community service project, our cluster decided to focus our attention on a local organization. To do this, we ventured into downtown Wilmington to volunteer our time at the Hilltop Lutheran Community Center . The center offers daycare and other family services to anyone in the local community who needs it. The center's playgrounds were in great need of cleaning after the Fall season left it littered with leaves and debris. The cluster spent time raking and sweeping the playground area to complete a meaningful and needed service to the neighborhood. Our cluster was happy to volunteer and contribute to an organization who devotes its resources to helping others.
