On a typical Sunday morning, students walk by several red cups, beer cans, plates and other trash on East Cleveland . This trash negatively affects the University of Delaware 's community by causing harm to the environment and creating an unattractive campus. Therefore, our Business and Economics cluster decided to clean East Cleveland for the community service project. We collected several bags of trash that contained cups, napkins and beer cans. Through this community service project, the students learned that simple actions such as picking up trash could have a large impact on the UD community.
