Our LIFE clusters completed the project entitled “Operation Kommando.” As part of a service project created by radio host, Kim Kommando, our students collected non-perishable food and other items to be enjoyed by troops over seas. The main portion of this project was collecting items from all the residence halls one week. The project was advertised using many Communication related means such as WVUD, STN, and classic word of mouth and fliers. The student's efforts were extremely successful and we had no idea how much they would be able to collect. A large part of our presentation will be how the students benefited in their communication skills through the project.
