Our HRIM clusters combined and put together a canned food drive. We set up outside of Super Fresh from 12-6 pm on Saturday, November 10th. The students prepared for this event by decorating posters and boxes that we used on Saturday. The posters explained that we were the Life Program, UD Students, and that it was a canned food drive. On the day of the event, the students had a wonderful time getting to know each other better and those in the community. It may have been super cold outside, but their efforts were rewarded by receiving over 500 cans/food items!! They were pleasantly surprised with how responsive the fellow shoppers were and were proud with how successful it went. Our presentation will fulfill the requirements and have extra pizzazz.
